Trip to Pilion/Tsangarada By airplane to Thessaloniki, from there take the bus to Volos (about 3 hours drive). Then by bus to Tsangarada (about 1.5 hour drive). Most rental car companies are represented at the airport. From May until October the offshore island Skiathos can be reached by airplane. From here you can take a speedboat ("Flying Dolphin") to reach Agios Ioannis (1.5 hour boat trip). In another 20 minutes drive you will reach Tsangarada. By car to Italy. From Ancona, Bari, Brindisi, Triest or Venice you can take the Ferries to Igoumenitsa or Patras. Drive to Serpentin Tsangarada is a longstreched village and Serpentin is close to the end of the village in the direction of Volos. From the centre of the village you can reach Serpentin by a 10 minutes walk. You can also reach Serpentin by car. If you are coming from Volos watch out for the telephone booth and the traffic mirror close by - shortly after passing the entrance of the village. Take a right turn and follow the street until you see a steep driveway to your left. Follow this until you find a small parking lot belonging to Serpentin.   |
