Serpentin Garden

On the east slope of mount Pelion, in the summer resort of Tsangarada, we restored one of the earliest farmhouses dated from 1731. On the surrounding 3000 m² wilderness we decided to create a garden. Since 1990 Serpentin has become - with its rare trees, historic roses and plants from all over the world - a wonderfully rich mosaic of colours and fragrances. Natural stone walls, ponds, fountains and staircases lead one to ever new impressions and vistas. The views to the islands of the Sporades are fantastic and on clear days, holy Mount Athos rises out of the Aegean Sea.
